Is the Robinson Jeffers Boxing Club a drug treatment program?
No. What you do with your drugs is your business. We are more interested in your life and the aspect of it that compels you to act self-destructively by using drugs. We are really a life treatment program.
Do you have certified and trained drug treatment professionals on your staff?
No. We offer to men in distress a very specific and transformative program of boxing, exercise, academic study, and so on. The RJBC team, therefore, includes a boxing instructor, trainers, teachers, and so on.
How many clients will be in treatment at RJBC at a time?
The preliminary estimate of the physical capacity of the location is about a quarter gross. The actual operating capacity will be determined by zoning codes, safety officers, and, of course, the right of our neighbors to the quiet enjoyment of their homes. (We understand we cannot be simultaneously a positive influence on the lives of our clients and a negative influence on the lives of our neighbors.)

RJBC, in turn, is controlled by Craig Nelsen, a mosaicist from Washington, DC and the sole member of RJBC, LLC.

Whites are dying of opioid overdoses at a rate far exceeding their share of the population. At the same time, white males commit suicide at a rate far exceeding their share of the population. Clearly, white males are in crisis. The RJBC program is designed to address the special challenges faced by white males. Just as the United Negro College Fund pursues only the ethnic interests of African-Americans and the Anti-defamation League pursues only the ethnic interests of Jews, the Robinson Jeffers Boxing Club pursues only the ethnic interests of whites. Oh, wait, that's not true. We accept males in crisis of any race.
