Ollie's Apology

During state mandated Holocaust education, an American student asks, "Why do we always study that genocide, but never the one occurring in Gaza right now?" His question upends his world, setting off a cascade of events that spiral to an unexpected—maybe even shocking—climax four days later.

Over the course of those four days, loyalties are tested and principles are examined when Ollie's whole town turns against him. As Ollie tries to defend his innocence he finds allies in places he least expected it and discovers enemies he didn't know he had.

Ollie's learns the true history of his country, of his people, of his town, and of his own family and that knowledge transforms his world. Ollie himself is transformed, but now he faces the biggest decision of his life.
