Ollie’s Apology

An American kid named Ollie Peterson asks an innocent question during the state-mandated Holocaust segment in his high school history class.

“Why do we always talk about the Holocaust and how bad genocide is, but we never talk about the genocide going on right now in Gaza?”

His question trips a political wire deep within the American system, unleashing forces he can’t even identify, let alone control. As events spiral to their shocking climax four days later, loyalties are tested, his home town is thrown into turmoil, and Ollie must make a choice that will determine the rest of his life.
